The Loft is a fabulously unique property with amazing views.  A new property furnished in a contemporary industrial chic style, very welcoming with fabulous attention to detail.  If you love books, art & pottery then this is the property for you!  Relaxing in the sunken plunge pool in the deck enjoying the stunning views will also be a highlight of your stay.

The main house has an open plan living, kitchen & dining room, with doors out onto the deck & view.  The kitchen is very well equipped, with fabulous pottery & a coffee machine.  Everywhere you look in this property are delightful treasures - a stack of rustic bowls, antique doors, recycled furniture, luxurious linens...this property is full of style.

The master bedroom & bathroom are off the main living room.  

The Workroom is beside the main house, accessed across the deck, and again furnished in fabulous chic style.  This is a wonderful room in which you can relax or pick up a paint brush & see what results!

Located at Woodside Bay, it is a short walk (via Woodside Bay Rd) to the beach and you will likely have the beach to yourself.  You are close to some fabulous walks at Whakanewha Regional Park, as well as other lovely & deserted beaches.  Ostend is a mere 7 minutes drive away, and Oneroa & Onetangi a few minutes further.

Unique home with a good location for a secluded stay. There is wonderful beach that you can see from the deck with a panoramic view. Most importantly for me the beach had very good swimming just a 15 minute walk. You will likely be by yourself for a swim as the location is removed from the tourist traffic. Great place for two people to have a private stay.

A really magical spot on the island! Unbelievable views, private, quiet & peaceful. Made even more special as we got engaged here! The house itself is incredible, we loved the openness & flow out to the balcony. A real artists haven, every corner felt thoughtfully curated and inspiring. You can tell so much love has gone into the space. It felt creative, cosy, and genuinely special rather than just “styled.” A real joy to be in. We will be back & cannot recommend more

We had such a wonderful stay at this place! The space itself was gorgeous, spacious, and well designed, with such homey touches. The view from the place was stunning - you could never get tired of that view. We especially enjoyed fresh cappuccinos in the morning from the snazzy espresso machine. We enjoyed staying on a quieter, more private part of the island, but still with a quick drive into town. Would definitely stay here again and only wished we had been there longer!
