Island Escape

Positioned above Sandy Bay and Enclosure Bay, Island Escape is a tranquil Waiheke retreat offering expansive sea views, a sun-filled north-facing deck and convenient access to two sheltered swimming bays. The property comprises a three-bedroom main house and a separate cabin, comfortably accommodating families and groups of up to 10 guests.

Approximately 10 minutes by car from Oneroa Village and the Matiatia ferry terminal, Island Escape provides an ideal base from which to explore Waiheke’s beaches, vineyards, restaurants and local attractions, while offering a peaceful setting to return to at the end of the day.

The Space

Island Escape is designed around relaxed indoor-outdoor living, with its elevated position making the most of the coastal outlook.

The bright, open-plan kitchen, dining and living area is the heart of the main house. Timber detailing, natural light and large bifold doors create a warm and welcoming space that opens directly onto the generous north-facing deck. Spend your mornings enjoying a coffee in the sunshine, gather around the table for a long lunch, or settle in for an evening overlooking the water.

The modern kitchen is well equipped for relaxed holiday cooking and shared meals

The main house sleeps 6 guests across 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with an open-plan living, dining and kitchen area opening onto a spacious sea-view deck.

• Master: 1 x King bed, en-suite and private deck access

• Bedroom 2: 1 x Queen bed

• Bedroom 3: 1 x Super King (can be split into 2 singles)

Set slightly apart from the main house, the detached cabin offers an extra layer of privacy and flexibility for up to 4 guests.

• 1 x Queen bed

• 1 x bunk beds (single over single)

Each stay incurs a $450 charge for quality linen, towels and exit clean so you have nothing to do but relax, refresh and enjoy.
